(Max)

It was a pretty normal day for Max, until he talked to Cherry. He got up, ate, and went outside.  He talked to Fern and Alaska, and found out they where having kits soon. Then he ran into Cherry."Hey!" Max said "How are you? Did you know your sister's having kits soon?"
 "Hi, good, and really?!" Cherry replide. "Ok, what's on your mind Cherry." Max asked. "Well, we have kits." Cherry said. Max's mouth dropped open. "What?! When, how..." Max stuttered "Slow down!" Cherry said "I'm going to have our real kits, but I found other abondond kits we can raise." Max fluffed up with the thought of his own kits. "Well, can I see the adopted kits?" Max asked. "Sure." Cherry said "Let's go!"


"They're so sweet!" Max said. He was looking down at the kits. They were all curled up in a pillow, playing. Fern's kits had came the other day, and Cherry would have her kits any time now. The kits looked so innocent, but they were already 3 moons old. Max and Cherry knew the kits would be taken soon, but they enjoyed the time they had. The kits, Moon, Kibble, Cresent, and Tuna, all thought Cherry was their mom. Max looked at his mates round belly and thought to himself, I would do anything for them and Cherry. He was shaken out of his daydream by the housefolk coming in their little house with a cage. "It's time." Max said. The kits knew this day was coming. They pressed up against Cherry and Max, and walked into the cage. "Goodbye!" they said. "We love you." Cherry said and watch them go away. Max looked around the cozy house both their housefolk had built for them, realizing they were mates. Max looked at Cherry silently crying. "It's ok, Cherry Tree, we'll have our own soon."

(Cherry)

Cherry hadn't seen Max ever since they got back from, the cave. She shuttered as she though of that night. She looked around too see what her housefolk were doing. Ok, so big male is watching the "magic" box. Cherry thought. Big female left with little male. And the medium female is...... Cherry looked around from her bed. not here. Cherry decided. She yawned and got up to look outside. Listen at those birds chirping. She thought. She listened more and realized.Wait... Those don't sound like birds, they sound like KITS!!!! Cherry yowled in alarm and ran into the "magic" box room and yowled at the top of her lungs. The big male looked annoyed, but got up and opened up the door. Cherry raced out and turned around at the housefolk and mewed at him to fallow. After a moment, the big male fallowed. A few step later he realized what was wrong and ran ahead of Cherry, as he now could see them, in the river! He ran right up and grabbed them out and ran to the house. Cherry nosed into the cage place and knocked it to the ground yanked a furry "blanket" and nosed it in. She got up on her hind legs and pushed it over to the big male and yowled, getting in and motioning with her tail. He got the idea and put the kits in with her, picked it up, and ran outside and put them in the monster. The big male quickly awakened the monster and pushed a few things, and Cherry soon heard the voice of The Cutter. They got there quickly and hurried inside. The Cutter's helper pointed them to a room. The big male ran in and put them on the table. The Cutter ran in and opened the cage. "Don't worry, little ones," Cherry whispered to the frightened kits."Your safe now "

(Cherry)

The sunlight began creeping into the little cave they were sleeping in. When Cherry woke up, she felt a bit sick. Max was still sleeping, so Cherry shook him awake and they started home. Once again they nuzzled goodbye, and parted ways. Cherry jumped when she saw her housefolk staring out the window. She purred with glee and ran over too the door. Her housefolk pet her and snuggled her, fed her, and for the rest of the day she stayed with her housefolk.

Cherry woke up and started yowling. The female housefolk kit woke up and reached over to Cherry and started petting her too try to calm her down. She saw the housefolk looked scared, so she settled down a bit. She hopped out of bed and mewed at the housefolk kit too fallow her, and than she started of to the back door. When she got there, she looked at expectantly at the kit, so the kit let her out. When she was out she went over to Ferns house and yowled. She heard movement and a few heartbeats later, Fern and Alaska came bounding out of the house. "Yes?" Fern asked, looking annoyed "What do you want?!" "Guess what?" Cherry replied "I have a mate!" Fern looked excited, than worried. "Wait, what will Max think?!" She said, worriedly. "Silly!" Alaska laughed "I bet Max is her mate!" "Your right Alaska,"Cherry said "Max is now my mate!" Fern jumped up on her hind legs and and clapped her front paws together. "Good for you!" she yowled, and broke off when her housefolk called for her and Alaska. "Well, looks like we should go, Fern." Alaska said too his mate. "Bye you two!" Cherry yowled "Bye Cherry!" and than Fern and Alaska went into their nest. Cherry heard a door opening and turned around. It was Max! " Hi Cherry Tree!" he yowled. "Hey Max!" she said, walking over too him "Wanna go for a walk?" she asked. "Sure." he replied. And they started off into the woods.


"Look at the sun!" Max cried "It's going down now!" Cherry's eyes opened wide with fear. "It's going down!" she yowled "We should find a den for the night." Max suggested "At least we'll be warm." Cherry nodded, and mewed. "How about there?" she suggested, pointing. "Ok, that looks good." he agreed and they padded over there. when they got in, the snuggled up and went too sleep.

The whole walk home Cherry was trying to realize what just happened. Max choose me over Cedarfoot... I have a mate! What will Fern say??? Cherry had all these thing run through her head as she continued down the rocky path. She wanted too talk with Max, but he looked just as shocked as she felt. How can he stand it? she thought. After walking a while she saw the light of the town. In a few minutes, they arrived at the gate. Max nuzzled her good night and went into his nest. Cherry looked at her nest, but decided she needed some time to herself. She hoped onto her fence and looked out at the forest. Wow, this sure is beautiful, she thought just look at the stars! She stayed out for a while, than heard her worried housefolk calling too her. Well my time is up. And hopped off the fence and into the yard. She went into the tiny door, quickly ate her food, and hoped into bed with the female housefolk kit. And than she drifted off to sleep. 

Cherry woke up under a tree, stars swirling around her. Suddenly, they stopped and formed themselves into cats! She quickly backed up, but suddenly the tree disappeared and she fell into water. A fiery orange cat stepped forwards and said "How dare you tamper with the clan?! How dare you tamper with the deputy?! How dare you tamper with US?!" the cat yowled as she sank deeper and deeper in the water. And then the water closed over her head into darkness.

Max stared at his sister, than at Cherry. He loved both of them, but he could only choose one of them. He looked at Cedarfoot and took a deep breath. I can't believe I'm doing this he thought. Than he made his choice. "Cedarfoot, I love you, but I need to be with Cherry." His sister looked stunned. "Come on Cherry." Cherry fallowed.


When they were home, Max nuzzled her good bye and than went into his nest. His housefolk looked happy too see him and gave him his dinner. For awhile he watched TV with them, something about a weird male housefolk in a silly costume, Captain America as he found out it was called. Than he fallowed the female housefolk to bed and laid on her feet. What did I do? How could I betray my sister? he thought as he drifted off too sleep.

(Cedarfoot) One time her side of the story will come up btw

Cedarfoot stared at the two. "Wait, who said I approved?! Cause I don't, at all. I mean, sure, you seem nice Cherry, but you guys JUST met!
(LOL, I know it's not much, but hey, I can't think of anything else! The story needed a conflict!)

Chapter 2: Max's Secret

Cherry had been fallowing Max for now what seemed like moons! She didn't dare complain, because he looked stern, and serious. Finally, she had to ask, "Where are we going, the moon?" She said joking. Max stopped and looked down from the tree, "No, just where I go when I have the time.". Ok... ,thought Cherry, though I thought he spent time with us! "Come up here, Cherry Tree," he said, blushing "there's someone I want you meet.". Then a pretty light brown she-cat came jumping down from the tree. " So, this is the famous Cherry I've been hearing about." the stranger said. "Who are you, and how do know my name?" Cherry snapped back. "Sharp tongue," the stranger noted " reminds me of Sharpstar! And I know your name because Tiny Tree here is my brother. I'm Cedarfoot, but you probably know me as......" she looked around dramatically "Cedar.". " Cedar, the Cedar?! Cedar the Deserter, Cedar the Brave, Cedar-No-More, that Cedar?!" Cherry gasped. "When did they come up with the names? I was just Cedar." Cedarfoot sighed " And my brother brought you here so I can see you, He's nuts about you, don't you brake his heart!" "I won't, because I love him." Cherry said, running up to him and nuzzling him. "I love you too," Max said "and I want to ask you something very important." He looked up to her, eyes shining and backed up. " Will you be my mate?" Cherry gasped and said "Of coarse, Max!!!!!!!" She ran back up too him and almost knocked him over. " I love you" she whispered. "I love you too" he whispered back.

"The camp was great! It had everything! I loved it so much!" Fern exclaimed " I felt like I could......" "Shut up?" suggested Cherry." You've been going on about for hours!" "If you like it so much, why don't you stay there!" yowled Alaska, a big tom that lived with Fern. Cherry was fairly sure he had a crush on Fern, and Cherry knew Fern had a crush on him. Fern looked hurt. " As I was saying, I felt like I could stay there, but all the cats looked so fierce, even Cloudpelt and Streamheart!" Cloud joined the ravine cats along with Stream, his mate." I never want to be like that, and besides, how can I leave my three best friends?" Fern walked up to Alaska and nuzzled him. "I love you Alaska, I hope you know that." Alaska looked surprised, then happy, then he nuzzled back. " I love you to, Fern." Cherry looked at the pair, than looked wistfully at Max. To her surprise, Max was staring at her! She turned away blushing, and when he waved her over with his tail, she fallowed. 

(Fern)

Fern had become used to her new nest, her sister living next door, and Max becoming moony eyed around Cherry. She loved everything about her life, except one thing, the dreams. She had began dreaming about the ravine, chasing mice and hunting with friends. So now here she was, walking to the ravine. She had heard rumors about the ravine cats, like Max's sister, Cedar. She looked up and saw a pretty she-cat, light brown and dark brown feet. "Who are you?" the strange cat yowled. "And what do you want?" The she-cat jumped down. "I'm Fern," Fern replied" who are you?". "I'm Cedarfoot." "Max's sister?" Fern asked. "Well, yes, but I'm not really called that anymore. Why are you here, Fern." "I've been having dreams abut this place, dreams about hunting with friends, and chasing a mouse." Fern atmitted. "Ok, I'll take you to Leafstar."

(Max)

Max liked the to she-cats, especially Cherry, she was so sweet, so beautiful, so perfect! Max sighed, he was love sick. He wondered what his sister, Cedar, would think of her. But then again, she went off to join the ravine cats, his lovely sister had become Cedarfoot, the pride of SkyClan. Max spotted the two sisters chatting with Salt and Kumquat, twins, a tom and a she-cat. Max knew everyone here, he had lived here since he was born. He loved it, but he loved Cherry the most of any cat.

(Fern)

It had been a few moons since she last saw Cherry and missed her very much. Fern saw some housefolk coming in the shelter, as she had learned it was called. Fern tried to look her cutest, purring loudly. Finally, one of the kits came over, yowling at the workfolk to open the cage. This was promising, the kit could bring her to Cherry! The kit pulled her out off the cage, and said something to the grown housefolk, then the female held out a bag, like Cherry's! Fern jumped in.

Fern was at her new home, she eigerly jumped out and smelled somthing farmilier, Cherry! She spotted her sister sunning herself next to a nice looking tom, talking to him, when she looked over "Fern!" she cried. "I've missed you so much!" "I have too Cherry. Now who is he?" Fern said looking over at the not very bad looking tom. "Oh, that's my friend, Max, he lives in the nest next to me." Cherry replies " And a nest away from you, we're neighbors now!"

(Cherry)

The sisters had been in this now not strange nest for ten days, and they were beginning to like it. "Fern, what should we do?" asked Cherry. "Well, we could play with the housefolk here." says Fern.
"Oh! Look one's coming over here!" Squeaks Cherry. "Ya!" says Fern. They both tried to look their cutest and finally a housefolk kit came over and picked up Cherry. Cherry purred as the kit scratched under her neck. " This is fun!" Squeaks Fern. "Ahhh." says Cherry, purring. Then the kit brought Cherry over to the older housefolk and said a few words. Then the male housefolk put up a bag, and Cherry jumped in, thinking it was a game. Then she got taken away.

(Cherry)

Cherry opens her eyes, confused. "What? Fern? Mom? Dad? Where are you?" Cherry yowls.This is not at all what she was used to. Nothing was the same about it. Fern wakes up, also confused and scared. "Cherry, where are we?!" Fern squeaks. "Well, I don't know, but we might as well eat" Cherry suguest.

Chapter 1: Kithood

Cherry pounces on her sisters tail "OUCH!"squeals Fern" MOM! CHERRY POUNCED ON MY TAIL AGAIN!" "Now now Fern,"says Rose"your playing a game it happens." This is all Cherry has ever known, her housefolk, her siblings,and her parents.Her father, Billy, walks in. "Whats happening Rose?" nuzzling his mate"I heard a squeal, what happens" "Fern was being a whimp!" Squeaks Cherry.
"Ok, now who's my brave little kit?" says Billy. "I am!" yowls Cherry. Her housefolk walk in while the family is sleeping. The housefolk grab the two kits and carry them away.
